Literature Text

Clouds are stretching for me
Yet white blankets can’t reach
They try like a crippled arm
Oxygen beats away their grip

Silence is my acquaintance
She sings to me notes so high
Hymns anchored deep down low
An equal mix of absolute blank

Wind wants to wake my thoughts
Never stealing them with briskness
Although it could if it wished
Whispering to me in a make believe conversation

The grass blends with shades of earth
Watching the pulse beneath the micro nation
Elevation shows me the horrid streets
The broken houses cry for company

I give them what they plead for
Tell them stories composed of nonexistent words
They become my recycled remedy land
This thought-up beauty lives with me upon my sloping roof
We had a challenge in creative writing. All we had to do was write anything about our special place [not like crazy people, just 'our' place where we can be happiest] with a catch... we had seven minutes! :ohnoes:

Here is mine... one window in my room (on the second story), has no screen anymore, and it leads to a sloping roof over the downstairs living room. I climb out there sometimes, really an ugly scene, but I like it.

Maybe I'll take a pic from up there and show you how it feels! :D
